چکیده

A Q-enhanced 8th order CMOS active bandpass filter is presented employing a novel two-stage self-calibration technique. The proposed active filter shows the better out-band attenuation performance than other reported CMOS active bandpass filters. The proposed calibration method enables the stable filtering operation affected by neither the input power variation nor the strong interference power. It is fabricated using 65 nm CMOS process. The measured 3 dB bandwidth is 54 MHz at 2.37 GHz. The insertion loss is 2.9 dB and the out-band attenuation is 27.5 dB at 15 MHz offset frequency. The performance of the filter remains unchanged for ±5% supply voltage variations. key words: CMOS bandpass filter, calibration, out-band attenuation

A Tunable Bandpass Filter Using Q-enhanced and Semi-passive Inductors at S-band in 0.18- Μm Cmos

A fully-integrated bandpass filter using Q-enhanced and semi-passive inductors is design, implemented and verified experimentally in a standard 0.18-μm CMOS process. The inductors achieve high-Q factors by using a tapped-inductor feedback technique to produce negative resistances. Compared with conventional transformer feedback, the proposed technique not only compensates resistive losses with ...

A CMOS Q-Enhancement Bandpass-Filter

Paging receivers often have to work in a dense signal environment. This poses high demands on the preselection filter. One of the most difficult aspects is the large image rejection demand, which only can be satisfied by use of a narrow-band or high-Q filter. The practical restrictions for possible filter implementations are the low cost, low power and the small size of the pager. By use of pos...

-Enhanced LC Bandpass Filters for Integrated Wireless Applications

Q-enhanced LC filter technology offers an alternative to the use of direct conversion techniques for implementing fully integrated receivers. Design and performance issues for QE LC filters are discussed and a fully integrated 850-MHz, two-pole, bandpass filter with an 18-MHz 3-dB bandwidth is reported. The prototype design is implemented in a standard 0.8m CMOS process and achieves a rejection...

Wide Tuning Range Active RF Bandpass Filter with MOS Varactors

The paper presents an improved tuning method implemented for a differential active inductor based RF bandpass filter. Derived from a previous designed transistor-only second order filter topology, independent frequency and quality factor tuning are demonstrated in 0.18 μm CMOS technology. The circuit has been basically designed for a maximum frequency of 2.4 GHz, high enough to cover the main w...
